Public institutions such as the road maintenance department in the province
of Lower Austria are an important target group for the general expansion of
charging infrastructure.
For the internal fleet of municipal vehicles, three Hyperchargers were installed at
each of three central branches of the Road Maintenance Office of Lower Austria.
Charging infrastructure for road maintenance has been installed at the
following locations:
- Wolkersdorf
- Amstetten
- Hollabrunn
A 150kW fast charger is located at all three sites. The chargers are linked to an
integrated load management system. This ensures that electricity load peaks are
balanced and only as much energy is used as is available at the time of charging.
