Radstadt is historic. But the medieval town in the Pongau region is by no means stuck in the past. On the contrary, today the town, located 70 kilometers south of the city of Salzburg, has become an e-mobility pioneer. One player that stands for this positive change is the Radstadt car dealership. A long-standing Volkswagen partner and reliable employer in the region is acting in an exemplary manner with a long-term perspective and an eye to the future.

Since the end of 2019, the company has been producing 100% green electricity in the form of photovoltaic systems. Under the management of MOON, 644 PV modules were installed, which together achieve a total output of 199.64 kWp. The different nature of the roofs (flat roof with gravel, standing seam  scheet metal roof) as in the case of the Radstadt car dealership was recorded in advance by trained service personnel, and the requirements for this were determined, in order to ultimately guarantee a smooth installation. In the case of the photovoltaic system in question, an expected annual production of approx. 210,000 kWh* was calculated. An electric vehicle with a consumption of 20 kWh per 100 km can thus cover more than 1 million km - per year.

In addition, a public charging station was put into operation at the site. The Power DC Charger can charge 75 kWh at direct current as well as 22 kWh alternating current (AC). The pleasing result: Autohaus Radstadt customers are already charging with 100% CO2-free electricity!
