Photovoltaic systems, storage systems, hyperchargers and round-the-clock solar power - the Mettmach Solar and Business Park is an example of the successful use of MOON products.
The Mettmach Solar and Business Park rents out energy-efficient warehouses with sustainable equipment. Photovoltaic systems, electricity storage systems, fiber optics and fast charging stations supply the area with solar power around the clock. In addition to the flexible storage offer, Mettmach thus offers its customers an environmentally friendly energy supply.
The Mettmach Solar and Commercial Park rents out commercial space for storage, production or trade. A total of five warehouses are available on the site for short- to long-term contracts. And above all, the warehouses in Mettmach, which are all equipped with air source heat pumps, are among the most energy-efficient in the whole of Austria. Photovoltaic systems (1,000 kWp), electricity storage (360 kWh), fibre optic cables and fast-charging stations (up to 150 kW) produce, store and distribute solar power throughout the site and ensure an environmentally friendly energy supply around the clock.
The halls consist of an innovative glulam construction with the best possible thermal insulation and integrated underfloor heating, which is operated by an air source heat pump. State-of-the-art fiber-optic connections are just as much a matter of course as three ultra-fast charging stations from MOON.
The photovoltaic system is distributed over all five halls, supplying 200 kWp per roof. This ensures environmentally friendly solar power for the entire business park. The electricity that is not used during the day is stored on site and is therefore also available in the early morning and evening hours. And even at night, solar power can still be used for the charging stations thanks to a storage system. It has a capacity of 360 kWh and 250 kW, respectively. At the ready-to-use charging stations, both cars and trucks benefit from a charging capacity of up to 150 kW. This makes the charging process extremely efficient.
