For Carmoto, a solar PV system was developed and commissioned with a capacity of 70.2 kWp. The facility contributes to the company’s energy independence by supplying a significant share of its operational electricity demand through clean energy.
Carmoto Co d.o.o. is an established automotive company based in Croatia, offering a wide range of vehicles and services. The company is an official dealer of Volkswagen, Skoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. It is also part of the Das WeltAuto certified used car program.
As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, Carmoto, a respected car dealership and service provider in Croatia, partnered with MOON POWER to implement a grid connection photovoltaic system. With a total installed capacity of approximately 70.2 kWp, the solar PV system significantly contributes to the company’s energy independence and supports its transition towards a more sustainable business model.
Energy efficient solar power
To support Carmoto’s goal of reducing operational emissions and energy costs, MOON POWER designed and delivered a high-efficiency solar PV system tailored to the company’s energy profile. The project included planning, technical consultation and commissioning of the installation. Once operational, the system began supplying a substantial portion of the dealership’s daytime electricity demand directly from renewable sources.
By utilizing clean solar energy, Carmoto is actively decreasing its dependance on grid electricity and stabilizing its long-term energy costs – an investment that not only delivers financial benefits, but also aligns with the company’s sustainability goals.
