Reliable performance for every business: The MOON energy storage system is a flexible, efficient and durable commercial storage. It supports companies and charging parks in implementing their energy strategy and is characterised by high performance. The system is suitable for a wide range of applications and can be easily scaled to meet future needs – both indoors and outdoors. With appropriate adaptation to the specific environments, expansion by up to six systems is possible.
Intelligent power consumption
The system uses stored energy when electricity prices are high and charges the storage system specifically at times of low prices. This means that grid electricity is purchased cost-effectively and energy costs are significantly optimised overall.
Undersized power supply
If the building's grid connection capacity is too low, the battery storage system can cushion load peaks.
Optimize self-consumption
Surplus electricity from photovoltaic systems is stored and used when needed. This increases independence from the grid.

With a capacity of 178 kWh up to 1,068 kWh, it has high-quality LFP battery cells that ensure safety, reliability and longevity. The system is prepared as a complete package for the connection of the inverter and can therefore be used in a wide range of applications, e.g. for peak load management, energy cost optimisation and grid stabilisation services.

A ready-made System
With the Kaco inverter, it is possible to reduce energy costs through peak load reduction or load management when charging electric vehicles in commercial areas. Thanks to grid-serving functions such as frequency stabilization and reactive power compensation, the inverter actively supports power quality.
In combination with the energy storage system, the inverter can be connected to the optiMOON portal via Modbus TCP and brought into the various modes.

Optimized self-consumption
In combination with an energy management system (EMS), the energy storage system becomes a holistic solution. The simple implementation enables a variety of functions: recording of consumption history, forecasting of consumption and production, individually adaptable control strategies and optimization of self-consumption.
Features such as peak shaving, peak shifting, dynamic power distribution according to priorities and access via app or web interface ensure maximum flexibility. The connection is via Modbus TCP or optionally via Modbus RTU with the EMS optiMOON.

The TAB Li-Ion C183 energy storage system helps with peak shaving, optimizes energy costs thanks to less dependence on external providers and stabilizes the grid.
- Indoor version: optimized for protected indoor areas with high energy density
- Outdoor version: with insulated housing, suitable for outdoor use in extreme conditions
The main difference is in the housing. The outdoor version has an insulated housing with IP55 protection, which allows it to operate in adverse weather conditions. Capacity and performance are the same for both variants.
Compatibility with MOON energy management enables seamless and flexible integration for a wide range of applications.
The hardware warranty is multi-part:
- TAB e.module H10.2 and S920: 5 years from invoice date
- TAB e.storage HV system configuration Inverter: 5 years from invoice date
- TAB e.storage HV system configuration other components (cables, mechanical parts, consumables and other consumer goods): 2 years from the date of production
In addition, there is a performance guarantee of 10 years or 8,000 cycles (1 cycle: 100% - 0% - 100%) from the date of invoice.
Each basic storage unit provides a usable energy content of 178 kWh. Up to six base memory units can be used per system.
The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells offer high safety, long service life and high efficiency. This makes them ideal for industrial and commercial applications.
